(NIV) New International Version Bibles


The New International Version (NIV) is a translation made by more than one hundred scholars working from the most current texts. In 1965 when, after several years of study an agreement was made on the need for a new translation in contemporary English. A self-governing body of fifteen Biblical scholars was responsible for the undertaking of the NIV, and in 1967, the sponsorship came about.
